“The Past Cannot Be Changed. The Future Is Yet In Your Power.”

27Names partners met in Luxembourg last week for our first official in-person meeting of the year. Almost 30 participants from 18 countries  were excited and eager to continue the work we began last year of reshaping the future of 27Names.

With our partner Mediation as host, our members were able to fully immerse themselves into Esch2022 – European Capital of Culture, as well as share best cases, and dive into topics such as creativity and sustainability.

Our home base for the meeting was Mama Shelter Luxembourg, and it proved to be the perfect setting for both work and play.

Day 1 began with a thought-provoking presentation on our future, and working group sessions on 4 key topics.  Best cases were also shared, as well as updates from all agencies. We then visited the AES steel plant in Esch-Sur-Alzette to visit both the CUEVA 2022 and the BMW Art Cars exhibitions, and were treated to an inspiring discussion on creativity in art and business with several of the artists. The discussion was facilitated by the talented Théid Johanns.

Day 2 focused on sustainability, including a presentation and discussion with Matthieu Gillieron,  Sustainable Development & Climate Coordinator for Esch2022. Many of our agencies also shared inspiring cases and examples of how they incorporate sustainability in not only their events, but in their offices as well.

We left Luxembourg full of ideas, excitement, and motivation. We’re already counting the days until we meet again!
